Description:

This position is of Technical Content Writer for Telecom products. HFCL develops multiple products – Enterprice Access Points, Home Mesh Routers, Unlicensed Band Radios, 5G Fixed Wireless Access CPEs, 5G Small Cells, IP/MPLS Routers, Enterprise & Campus Switches, and EMS/NMS. We believe in delivering the very best product experiences for our customers, and in providing state of the art, user-centric content that complements diverse range of networking products and IT solutions.

Responsibilities:

Research, outline, write, and edit content, working closely with various departments to understand project requirements
Gather information from subject-matter experts and develop, organize, and write procedure manuals, technical specifications, and process documentation
Develop comprehensive documentation that meets organizational standards
Gain deep understanding of products and services, and translate complex information into simple, polished, engaging content
Write user-friendly content that meets the needs of target audience, turning insights into language for user success
Develop and maintain detailed database of reference materials, including research, usability tests, and design specifications
Evaluate current content and develop innovative methods for improvement
Drive a unified content strategy, content development best practices, and delivery and feedback mechanisms in the team.
Identify the significantly complex information needs of target audiences, develop appropriate content plans, and manage the execution of those plans.
Create high-quality technical content for complex product and solution deployment needs.
Contribute towards strategies for enhancing content quality, usability, and next-gen content offerings.
Ready to operate the products to have first-hand information on what should be captured in the manuals.

Skills:

Excellent Technical Writing Skills
Proficiency in writing GUI & CLI documentation
Experience in working with engineers to improve user experience (ex: design, UI), refine content, and create visuals and diagrams for technical support content
Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex subject matter
Experience in writing documentation and procedure manuals for various audiences
Good understanding of networking domain
Aptitude & drive to learn new products, technology & tools
Familiar with Adobe FrameMaker or similar authoring tools
Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
