Experience: 0-6 months

Job Location: Pune

Shift: Rotational Shift.

Educational Criteria:

• BE / BTech / BCA / BCS / BSC / MCA / MCS / MSC (CS/IT)
• No Pass-out Criteria
• No Percentage Criteria.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Troubleshooting and Problem-solving: As an L3 support engineer, one of the primary responsibilities is to troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide solutions to end-users.
• Technical Escalation: When an issue cannot be resolved by L1 or L2 support teams, it is escalated to the L3 support engineer. As an L3 support engineer, you will be responsible for handling such escalated cases and providing timely solutions.
• Incident Management: The Technical Specialist is responsible for ensuring that all incidents are resolved in a timely manner and within the defined service level agreements (SLAs).
• Documentation: A Technical Specialist should be able to create detailed documentation of technical procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
• Team Collaboration: Working with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems, provide technical training and support, and develop best practices is a key aspect of the role.
• Technical Skills Development: A Technical Specialist should continuously develop their technical knowledge, keeping up-to-date with the latest trends, and attend training sessions to improve their skillset.

Job Description:

The position entitles the desired candidate to: 

• Creating testing procedures to evaluate the performance of the software.
• Building software testing programs that automate testing processes.
• Running the software testing procedures to evaluate the software.
• Manual testing of GUI, client-server and web based applications.
• Test case design, Test planning, Test case execution, Reporting bugs and making recommendations to improve the software product.
• Collaborating with other Test Engineers, Software Programmers and other team members.
• Retesting software after bugs are fixed to ensure the program works properly.
• Attending meetings with the development team, clients and other groups.
  

Skills Required:

The prospective candidate should possess: 

• Manual Testing / Visual Basic 6.0 / MS SQL Server  / Logical Analysis.
• Strong technical abilities and comfort working with various software programs.
• Knowledge of various programming languages, depending on the project.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Written and verbal communication skills to successfully share their testing results and make recommendations.
• Familiarity with testing processes, including creating a test plan and opening bugs.
